Richard specialises in new towns and communities planning, funding, delivery and stewardship. He is Tier 1 rated in both Planning and Environmental law in Chambers and Legal 500 Directories and is a Top Planning Lawyer in Planning Magazine. He and his team have wide experience of over 45 new towns and communities projects over 25 years, including a number of New Towns Taskforce recommended sites.
He also advises a number of existing and emerging Development Corporations, including Central, Mayoral and Locally Led Dev Cos. He specialises in complex projects and leads multi-disciplinary project teams in the UK and internationally. Richard has also pioneered the full lifecycle use of digital planning, delivery and stewardship alongside data monetisation associated with Smart New Towns and Communities.
