building NEW communities conference

22 April 2027 | Kings Place

Across the UK, the ambition to create a new generation of communities and 1.5 million new homes is accelerating. These large-scale projects go beyond housing numbers: they’re about shaping places that endure, with the homes, infrastructure, jobs, and green spaces people need to thrive.

The 2026 edition brought together over 200 industry leaders from local government, local authorities, development, investment, planning and design to focus on partnership, investment advice and securing public planning mandates. Read more about it here.

We will be returning for our seventh year on 22 April 2027 at Kings Place – the cultural pulse of King’s Cross. Follow us on LinkedIn to stay updated on the latest releases of themes, chair, programme and speakers.

The Building New Communities Conference is the culmination of a year-long programme that involves various ways to engage with the community, including roundtables, steering group meetings, and newsletters.
